3 Favorite Wine Bars in New Orleans

There is no shortage of bars in New Orleans… Dive, cocktail, tiki - you have plenty of options! However, if wine is your vice, I did some hard-hitting investigative journalism to find you my three favorite wine bars.

Patula - French Quarter

A beautiful and airy wine bar tucked into a courtyard off Royal Street, this wine bar (a treat for us by Krewe, the luxury sunglass brand founded in New Orleans) is relaxing with a great wine list. The food options are limited, but still fresh and well paired with the wines offered. I love the onion dip personally.

Pluck - Warehouse District

Pluck is a traditional wine bar in that they serve tapas and an expansive wine list, though they do have a few more substantial items on the menu. They’re a James Beard Award Semi-Finalist and offer both classic and unique wines. I got an incredible soft bubbly rose and a build-your-own charcuterie board. The team is knowledgable and kind, and I had a LOVELY time here.

Patron Saint - Garden District

St. Pizza has gained a huge following post-Dave Portnoy Pizza Review in 2025 and a New York Times rave review in 2024 , but they’ve been there since 2023 with their companion - Patron Saint. They are connected and it is in perfect harmony that you can get a delicious New York-style pizza and then bring it into the wine bar for your drink. I went twice in 3 days and don’t regret it at all. My only “complaint” is that if you buy a bottle of wine, you also have to pay a corking fee… I wish they either waived it or included it into the price of the bottle.

Leave a comment with your favorite wine bar in New Orleans or if you’ve been to any of these and what you think :)
