Wyndham Grand Resort Bonnet Creek Review

I got a new job this year (exciting!) as an event planner for a non-profit and my first event was in Orlando, Florida for a conference. The conference was at the Wyndham Grand Resort in Bonnet Creek, right near Disney World, so I was stoked to visit! Let’s get started.

Room

They were so kind and knew I was there for work, so they upgraded me to a 2-bedroom suite. I had 2 restrooms, a living room and a sitting area (both with pull-out couches), a kitchen table, 2 bars, and a king bed. The view was over the Bonnet Creek golf course and was so nice to see some greenery!

Price

I’m unsure of the price of the room as my work paid for it, and I can’t find the exact suite on their website; however, their rooms look to be reasonably priced within the $200 range for the same time period for a variety of room sizes!

Amenities

The resort is quite massive… They boast 3 restaurants, a coffee bar, a beautiful pool overlooking their lake, an arcade, a gym, spa, transportation to the Disney Parks, and an incredible location right in the middle of Lake Buena Vista. I also enjoyed the walking trail around the lake coming in right at a mile.

Food

Since our conference was there, we used their catering services and I genuinely have never had better banquet food for an event before. We opted for healthier options, and everything tasted very fresh and delicious. My favorite was the quinoa porridge we had one morning during breakfast, and the avocado salad during our dinner the second evening.

Staff

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had one guest request an orange instead of an apple, and they immediately went on the hunt for oranges. Any request our guests had, they made it seem so easy to find a solution.

Pros/Cons

Based on my review, it’s obvious the hotel was great. I really only have very positive feedback on the resort and the staff.

The only con I can think of is that the hotel looks slightly dated. I’d love to see a little bit of a refresh as it’s giving Tuscan Dreams circa early 2000s, but that is a preference of mine, not necessarily a knock on the resort.
